UPDATE: She has been returned to her family.

This afternoon the Lake Charles Police Department responded to a call for assistance involving an adult female who is mentally challenged and not able to identify herself.   Investigation revealed that the adult female was with her mother in the 4000 block of Broad Street and got separated.

The Lake Charles Police Department is requesting assistance in identifying and locating this individual’s family so that she can be safely returned to her family. Any information on the identity of this female can be provided to the Lake Charles Police Department at 337-491-1311.
