Houston police say a human skull has been found at an abandoned apartment complex by some potential property buyers.
Autopsy results are pending. Police said Tuesday that the remains are believed to be of an adult female.
Police were summoned after some individuals Monday came upon the skull in the courtyard of the complex. A search of the property led to more parts of the skeleton.
Police did not immediately say whether investigators have leads on the identity of the woman.
