VIDOR — Vidor Middle School principal Lorna Alvis, Judge Randy Shelton and Mrs. Michelle Reynolds, VHS Language Arts teacher, posed after a very successful evening with “Do the ‘Write’ Thing Texas.” Students were recognized for the essays they wrote about anti-bullying and anti-violence. Copies of winning essays were displayed on the tables, and student quotes continually played on a huge screen throughout the ceremony.
