BC Chamber Banquet
The Bridge City Chamber of Commerce will hold its 53rd Annual Taste of the Bayou Banquet at 6 p.m, Monday, Jan. 14 inside the Bridge City Community Center, 105 Parkside Drive. Tickets are $15 and table sponsorships are $125. The event is open to the public and attire is casual. Call the chamber at 409-735-5671 for more information.
Cormier Museum
The Orangefield Cormier Museum, located near Orangefield High School on FM 105 in Orangefield, will be open to the public from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19.
BC-Orangefield Rotary
The Bridge City-Orangefield Rotary Club meets at noon, every Thursday, at the Bridge City Community Center.
Bible Study
New Life Assembly Church, located at Elks Road and FM 105, invites you to join in Bible study at 7 p.m., every Wednesday. Call 409-735-4709 for more info.
Orange Community Band
The Orange Community Band rehearses from 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m., every Thursday, at the National Guard Armory, 4103 Meeks Drive in Orange. Players needed for the following sections: flute, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, French horn, and percussion, but everyone is welcome. The OCB plays throughout the community including concerts for Veterans Day, Christmas, Memorial Day and Independence Day. We also perform at least one traditional band concert during the season. Child Find/Child Serve is a requirement, which ensures school districts regularly identify, locate and appropriately place children and students with special needs. Bridge City ISD wants to effectively meet these requirements.
