VIDOR — Itty Bitty Story Time was held at the Vidor Public Library Jan. 17. The library welcomed Park Ranger Tami Schutter with Texas Chenier Plain Refuges Complex in Anahuac, which has over 100,000 acres and is composed of 4 refuges - Anahuac, McFaddin, Texas Point, and Moody National Wildlife Refuges. The refuges span from the Louisiana - Texas border, all the way to East Galveston Bay, and offer recreational opportunities such as hunting, fishing, photography, and wildlife observation. Tami read “A Frog in the Bog” by Karma Wilson and the children made a ’gator magnet clip for the craft.
