The Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following calls from Oct. 24 - 30, 2012.
Wednesday, Oct. 24
• Burglary at the 3500 block of Lakeview Cutoff Street in Vidor.
• 911 hang up at the 7200 block of Royal Oaks Circle in Orange. A man was taken into custody.
• Burglary at the 3500 block of Lakeview Cutoff Street in Vidor. A person was taken into custody and the property was returned to the owner.
• Possession of a controlled substance.
• Animal nuisance at the 7800 block of Alice Street in Bridge City. A woman was not complying with the Orange County Animal Ordinance.
• Burglary at the 1000 block of Texla Road in Vidor.
Thursday, Oct. 25
• Criminal mischief at the 3000 block of Brown Road in Vidor.
• Burglary at the 3000 block of Brown Road in Vidor.
• Burglary at the 2700 block of FM 3247 in Orange.
• Theft at the 1400 block of Mohawk Street in Vidor.
Friday, Oct. 26
• Assault of a child at the 600 block of Strickland.
• Assault at the 200 block of Border Street in Orange. One inmate assaulted another inmate at the Orange County Correctional Facility.
• Indecency with a child at the 11600 block of Highway 62 in Orange.
• Disorderly conduct at the 7300 block of Highway 87. One woman was arrested.
Saturday, Oct. 27
• Burglary at the 5000 block of FM 408. Two men were later located and arrested for burglary of a residence.
• Theft at the 4200 block of Meadowlark Drive in Orange. An all-terrain vehicle was stolen.
Sunday, Oct. 28
• Deadly conduct at the 4300 block of Birtie in Vidor.
• Assault at the 200 block of Border Street in Orange.
Monday, Oct. 29
• Animal dumping at the 5300 block of Old Highway 87. Several dogs had been dumped/abandoned at near the old baseball field.
• Suspicious circumstances at the 7300 block of Highway 87 in Orange. A student threaten to bring bombs to the school.
• Fraud at the 200 block of Border Street in Orange.
Tuesday, Oct. 30
• Burglary at the 3000 block of FM 3247 in Orange.
• Fraud at the 200 block of Border Street in Orange.
• Assault at the 4800 block of Caribou Drive in Orange.
• Burglary at the 1000 block of Emerald Street in Vidor.
• Burglary at the 1000 block of Emerald Street in Vidor.
• Assault at the 800 block of Leitrum in Vidor.
