VIDOR — Fourth grade students at Pine Forest Elementary in Vidor had a real peg-legged, eye-patched pirate at their pep rally recently as they enjoyed a visit from Capt. Patch. They were very interested in his story of losing his leg and sight from the effects of being in the war. The students were told that he was one of Vidor’s biggest Pirate fans and how he attends all the games dressed like a Pirate.
