LITTLE CYPRESS — The LC-M UIL Prose and Poetry team found success at the Nederland UIL Meet on Saturday, Jan. 19. The team of six saw every member advance from preliminary to semi-final competition with four readers reaching the final round. Placing in Finals were, from left to right, Kristin Yokum, second place in Prose; Jacob Richard, first in Prose; Rebecca Sanford, fifth in Poetry; and Courtney Atherton, first in Poetry. LC-M was the most represented school in Finals competition. The readers are coached by LC-M Theatre Director Cory Broom.
