ORANGE —
St. Mary Catholic School 5th and 6th grade students participate in an Invention Convention each year. The purpose of the Invention Convention is to think about solutions for difficulties for the community, people and/or the environment. Students brainstorm about different ideas, choose an invention and create something they feel would be helpful. The projects were presented and judged during Catholic School Week.
The students that placed this year are:

2nd place - Cade Trahan, Nicholas Wilson, Logan Russell
3rd place - Megan Do, Elizabeth Doan, Jude Fuselier
