ORANGE — Lamar State College-Orange dual-enrollment nursing, pharmacy technology and dental assisting students spent Wednesday afternoon (Oct. 3, 2012) hosting a Breast Cancer Awareness event on campus.

Informative materials were passed out to students, faculty, staff and community members who stopped by for cookies, punch or to sign up for a door prize. The students collected $108 for the American Cancer Society and signed up 14 people for the “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Southeast Texas” 5K Walk at Lamar University on Oct. 20.
