Presidential race is important, a repeat

ORANGE —

Do we bring back Barack Obama? Do we vote in Mitt Romney and change everything?
Voters it is in our hands to decide between these two questions.
Obama came in blazing. Remember those speeches during his campaign? Yes I do!
He was moving, hip, captivating and even Oprah was brought to tears.
......and now......
Grey hair, less interesting and certainly a lot more people are far-less interested in listening to him speak when he interupts Grey’s Anatomy.
Is the Oval Office too big for the guy? Did George W. Bush leave too much trash behind for Obama to clean up? Does he need another four years to get things turned around or has he already shown he is in over his head and he is not the guy for the job?
Romney is the opposite of Obama, complete opposite.
He is a true Republican and wants to turn what Obama has started completely on its head and start over.
We have seen this before. Obama did it when Bush left office.
Bush had in some ways overstayed his welcome in the public eye and Obama was their guy.
.....and now......
Romney is this election’s Obama. He might not be as interesting and he certainly does not give as exciting of speeches. Yet if you want change again and hope things will be different than they are now, vote Romney.
We all need to remember though it is not what these candidates promise to do right now, it is more about the situation they have us in three to four years from now.
Life in America must get better. Jobs are needed, the financial state must improve and countries around the globe must be given reasons to respect us again.
Can we do it? Yes we can.

  • The President’s next act

How can it be that with Washington simmering in scandals, with Republicans (not to mention talk-show hosts) using the "I" word (impeachment) with abandon, with calls to bring back Ken Starr (of Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky fame), President Obama's job approval rating is holding steady at around 50 percent, thank you very much?

  • Obama out to pass the blame once again

One big reason President Obama has had such a tough week is that, for once, nobody – not even members of his own party and his usually adoring press corps – is going to buy his standard line that anything wrong is due to “the mess I inherited.”
