ORANGE —
This debt issue must be pretty serious because it is all over the television and web.
It was easy to miss though the early stages, the parts that actually said what was going on in Washington.
Do a Google search to find details on what this all means and the search engine will basically respond with "We haven't a clue either."
We do understand a lot of government employees will either work for free or go home. Are you on social security? Write your local lawmaker and say thanks for nothing.
Will Wall Street crash? Will all those senators, representatives and others making no decision instead of making one get paid?
That would be as fair as asking Lindsey Lohan take a breathalyzer on a daily basis.
The fact remains once again Americans are being told the worst parts and all the doom and gloom. Remember anthrax and that pretty color code system of terror warnings?
President Obama urged you, yes you, to contact your congressmen. Take the man up on his offer and forward the email to him too.
Demand they take a cut in pay since it's a fact they work for us.
They do still work for us, right?
If we want them to return to this notion it is time we put pressure back on them.
If they want doom and gloom simply include in your letter that elections are always around the corner.
Now back we go to searching for those answers to why we can't pay our debt.
So much for being a rich nation.
