ORANGE —
Ralph “Rick” Marion Shelton Jr., 65, of Orange, Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Rick was a native of Groveton, TX; born on August 30, 1947 to mother, Doris (Day) Neimann and father, Ralph Marion Shelton Sr. He had lived most of his life in the Orange area and was of the Baptist faith. He had served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Rick enjoyed going fishing, gardening, and he was also a collector of coins, jewelry or anything of value. He was a loving man, who loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph M. Shelton Sr.
He is survived by his mother, Doris Neimann of Orange; daughter, Stephanie Shelton of Corpus Christi, Texas; sisters, Linda Crotts of Atkins, South Carolina, Debra Reedy of Wichita, Kansas; brother, Larry Shelton of Orange and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 5 pm until 9 pm at Dorman Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on December 3, 2012 at 2 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Orange Forest Lawn Cemetery. Condolences may be sent for the family at www.dormanfuneralhome.com.
