ORANGE —
Floyd L. Charlot Jr. passed into eternity, surrounded by family, on Sunday, February 17, 2013 after a lengthy illness. As a lifelong resident of Orange, Texas, he will be sincerely missed by all who knew him. Floyd was a kind, thoughtful, compassionate person who, went out of his way to help others; while never expecting anything in return.
Floyd was a member of the 1977 graduating class of West Orange-Stark High School. In addition, he served his country in the army and worked at Chevron Refineries for many years.
Floyd leaves to cherish his precious memory, his mother, Rev. L.R. Charlot; brother, Vernon (Edie) Charlot of Katy, TX; sisters, Linda (Jimmy) Henderson of Houston, TX, Katherine Brooks; nieces and nephews-Tiara (Paul) Sims of Houston, TX; Vernon Charlot Jr of Katy, TX; Jonathan Charlot (military); Hazel, Immanuel, and Jewel Brooks, all of Orange, TX and a host of family and friends.
Services honoring and celebrating the life of Floyd will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Back to God Fresh Anointing Ministries located at 1101 W. Park Street, Orange TX.
