Hoit Mike Henson, 48, of Hartburg, Texas passed away Feb. 12, 2013 in Hartburg of a long existing illness.
A Celebration of Life and Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at Oak Grove Tabernacle in Hartburg, Texas with Rev. James M. Sellers, Jr. and Rev. Randy Van Pay, Uncles of Mike, jointly officiating. All friends and family are invited to attend. There will be a special time in the service for everyone to share memories of our special loved one.
Born April 20, 1964 in Frisno, CA to his Mother, Letha Deering Henson, and Father, Chester Delieh Henson.
Mike and Kathy ReNee' Ocraman Henson were happily married 11 years. He openly expressed his love for his "Main Girl". He was a loving and proud Dad to his Son, Christopher, Daughter Krystina, and her husband Harley and Granddaughter, Niki. He was always laughing and lovingly helped to care for his Nana, Velma Lea Sellers of Hartburg.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Chester Delieh Henson, his Sisters: Vickie Lane, Denise Lane and Nora Mae Henson and Brother, Ricky Henson.
Mike is survived by his wife, Kathy ReNee' Ocraman Henson, son, Christopher Lewis Henson, daughter, Krystina Henson and granddaughter, Niki. sisters Joann Rich and Sonyna Thornhill and brothers Arthur Doyel Henson, Noyel Henson, Wayne Henson and Elliot Lane, numerous nieces and nephews. Nana, Velma Lea Sellers, father-in-law, Ralph Ocraman, friend Karen Ocraman, mother-in-law, Meredith Sellers Ocraman Stark and husband Dale Stark, sister-in-law, Letha Ocraman Irving and husband, Robert Irving, Sr.
In lieu of flowers, Kathy suggests love gifts may be deposited in a special account at Community Bank, Benefit of Hoit Mike Henson, Account 21044459. The funds will be used to cover funeral expenses.
