VINTON, La. —
The family and friends of Gloria Morris Hashaw, 86, are mourning the loss of their loved one who was called into the arms of her Lord, Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 7,2013 while surrounded by many members of her beloved family.
Funeral services will be held at the Hixson Funeral Home in Vinton, on Sunday , March 10, 2013 at 2;00 PM. Visitation will be Saturday 3:00 to 10:00 PM, Sunday 12:00 to 2:00.
Gloria was born in Vinton, Louisiana to Claude and Bea Morris of Vinton on October 6, 1926 and was a 1943 graduate of Vinton High School. She attended Calvary’s Purchase Church in Orange, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 53 years, Luther William Hashaw, her sons, William (Billy) and Larry Claude Hashaw, a daughter, Suzanne Marie Hashaw Racca, a grand-daughter, Yvonne Racca, and a grandson, Mathew Hashaw.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Tim Linscomb and her daughter-in-law, Ginger Hashaw.
Left to cherish her memory are fourteen grandchildren, Natalie (Jo) Ingalls of Starks, Christina Linscomb and Marla Jordan of Vinton, Jessica (Chris) Parker, Tim Linscomb II, Rebekah (Clint) Temple, Ramona (Jess) Walker, all of Orange, Nicole (Marvin) Racca Simon of Sulphur, Paige (André) Racca Delcambre of Hackberry, Marcy Hashaw Tayler of Mauriceville, Melody Hashaw of Orange, Danny Bob, Larry Lynn Hashaw, and Holly Hashaw Thidodeaux of Sulphur. Her grandchildren blessed her with thirty-four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her beloved dog, Bébe, and a host of Brothers and Sisters in Christ.
