ORANGE — Sylvia Maria Lemoine, 84, of Bridge City, Texas passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012. Sylvia, a loving Wife and Mother, was born November 18, 1927 in Plaucheville, Louisiana to the late Edwin and Mary Lemoine. She was a graduate of Plaucheville High School.
Funeral services will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home, 1605 Ave. H in Nederland on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 10:00am with Father Steven Leger of St. Henry Catholic Church officiating . Burial will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland with a Rosary at 6:00pm.
Sylvia is survived by her Husband, Marvin J. Lemoine Sr.; Her Children, Donna Rice, Marylyn Malin, Bosco Lemoine, Pam Landry, and Todd Lemoine; Grandchildren, Daren, Allison, Michelle, Brandy, Candice, Cade, Cody & Misty, Chance, Jonah, and Madison; and fifteen Great Grandchildren.
Sylvia had many hobbies which included; sewing, cooking, family time, being a member of St. Henry Catholic Church while service on the Altar Society. She was also owner and operator of Sylvia’s Ladies Sports Ware.
