ORANGE —
I.D. Powell, 80, of Orange died Friday, December 14, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hosptial in Beaumont.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
A native of Brookeland, TX, he had lived in Orange since 1973. He was a retired welder and a United States Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by a son, Harvey Powell of Orangefield; 2 daughters, Cooky Porche of Deweyville and Gail Addison of Orange; 3 brothers, Chester Powell of Buna; Odell Powell of Buna and J.C. Powell of Dallas; 1 sister, Mary (Aunt Nita) Keller of Jasper; 4 grandchildren, Misty Brewster, Scotty Powell, Ronnie Hughes, and April Wilson; and 1 great grandchild, Carter Hughes.
