VIDOR —
Kenneth Reedom 94 of Orange, Texas died on June 26, 2012 at his residence after a short illness.
He was a native of New Iberia, Louisiana and a resident of Orange, Texas for 62 years.
Mr. Reedom was a Army veteran where he served his country for many years. He was ranked as a Staff Sargent.
He also was a faith member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church where he served as sunday school supertedant, choir member and other roles in church ministies.
Going home celebration will be Saturday at 11:00am at Starlight Church of God in Christ located at 2800 Bob Hall Road in Orange, Texas with Pastor E.B. Lindsey Officiating. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00am til time of service. Interment to follow at Hollywood Cemetery under the direction of Colonial Memorial Chapel.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories his wife, Hazel Lee Reedom of Orange, Texas. Two sons, Harold Ken Reedom of Beaumont, Texas and Donald Keith Reedom of Arlington, Texas. Three daughters, Anita Renae Smith of Orange, Texas, Retha Michelle King and Darlene Dumas both of Houston, Texas.
He also leaves behind 10 stepchildren 39 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
