ORANGE —
On October 26, 2012 the Lord took our beloved mother, sister, and friend Neeta R. Williamson. Neeta died at St. Elizabeth Hospital with her family by her side. Neeta lived in Orange til she retired from Dupont and moved to Old Salem area. She was born April 21, 1942 to Evelyn and Clifford Peveto. Neeta loved to cook and was the best the whole family had to offer. She loved her time with her family, especially setting on her front porch drinking her coffee. She loved going to casino with family also.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter Teri Ann Williamson.
Those left to cherish her memory are daughters Teena Williamson Nixon and husband Robert of Deweyville, and Tracie Williamson Ham and husband Dub of Alexandria, La. Also her great pride was her grandchildren Amanda Nixon Omey and husband Khris, Katie Ham-Kindall, Kory Ham, Joey Ham and Mandy Ham all of Alexandria, La, and the latest was great grandson Kace Omey. Also those left to miss her dearly are sisters Glenda Peveto Dyson and husband Norris of Lake Charles, La, Kay Peveto King, and Donna Peveto Hoffman and husband Homer, and a brother Roger D. Peveto all of Old Salem.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at Adams EE Stringer Funeral Home in Kirbyville with burial at Trout Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
