ORANGE —
The Celebration of Life for Mr. Eddie Lee Johnson, 63, of Orange, will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the Starlight Church of God In Christ. Supt. Ernest B. Lindsey, pastor, will officiate. Elder Herbert Winston, pastor of the White Rose Church of God In Christ of Port Arthur, TX will deliver the Celebration Message.
Rites of Christian Burial will follow in Magnolia Memorial Gardens under the direction of Sparrow Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the church.
He died October 3, 2012 at Memorial Herman Baptist Orange Hospital.
A native of Jamestown, TX, he resided in Orange most of his life and was a 1969 graduate of Stark High School.
He was an operator for Printpak, Inc. for 30 years before retiring.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Johnson of Orange, TX, 2 sons, Willie Johnson and Issum Owens, both of Orange, TX, 3 daughters, Kizzy Brown, Claudette Owens, and Erica Johnson, all of Orange, TX, his mother, Dorothy Hill of Orange, TX, 5 brothers, Charles Johnson of Orange, TX, Greg Hill of Spring, TX, Bobby Hill of Arlington, TX, Kenneth Johnson of Crockett, TX, and Tommy Johnson, Jr. of Beaumont, TX, 5 sisters, Anita Tillman and Charlotte Qureshi, both of Arlington, TX, Cheryl Johnson and Caprisha Johnson, both of Houston, TX, and Olivia Johnson of Beaumont, TX, his step-mother, Nancy Johnson of Beaumont, TX, and 15 grandchildren.
