WOODVILLE —
Danny Raymond Weldon, beloved father and friend, passed away, Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in Colmesneil, Texas.
A celebration in his honor will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville.
Danny was born December 11, 1953 to Abbey Raymond & Carrie Mary Manganice Weldon in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a former resident of Deweyville, where he lived with his daughter, Cher Ann Weldon and his wife of 20 years, Debbie Ann Weldon Cappadona; and he spent his last six years as the most elgible bachelor in Colmesneil, Texas. He was an honest, kind, generous and compassionate man. The world will not be the same without him.
He is survived by his daughter, Cher Weldon Jones & husband, Ronald Jones, Jr. of Colmesneil; his loyal canine companion, Hubcap; his fabulous feline, Hank; mother, Carrie Mary LaSalle of Port Arthur; sisters, Betty Ann Weldon Bledsoe & husband, Jim Bledsoe of Woodville, and Virginia Weldon Smith of Nederland.

Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home of Woodville.
