Gaynanette Beach and Justin Cole Sartin, both of Houston, Texas were
united in marriage on Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Hotel Galvez on
Galveston Island, TX. The six o'clock garden ceremony was officiated by Ron
Ramey of Houston. Music was performed by the Divisi Strings of Houston. A reception followed in the Music Room of the Hotel Galvez with music provided by Duck Soup of Ausin. Flowers were disigned by Michelle Kellett of Clear Lake Flowers. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. George Derry Beach of Shreveport, LA. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald B. Botkin and the late Frederick Hall Schneider, Jr. and the late Mr. and Ralph B. Beach. The groom is the son of Ms. Cynthia Broussard Sartin of
Vinton, LA. and Mr. Buford Dale Sartin of Kyle, TX. He is the grandson of
Mrs. Viola Broussard and the late Mr. Jules Broussard and the late
Mr. and Mrs. Dove Hurley Sartin. The bride, given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, wore a white silk taffeta strapless gown disigned by Watters and Watters for Sue Peyton's. The draped ruched bodice was accented with buttons down the back. The trumpet skirt had a self rolled flower at the hip and flowed into a chapel length train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of white calla lilies, roses, and orchids and wore a single rose in her hair. Katherine Miller Carmody sister of the bride, of Shreveport, LA and
Rebekah Tingle Gura of Lafayette, CO. served as matrons of honor. Elizabeth
Miller, siser of the bride, of Baton Rouge, LA. served as maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Brooke Sartin, sister of the groom,Kyle,TX, April Hanley
Wilson, Alison MCKenzie, and Ashley Palmer all of Shreveport, LA , and
Kristin Sullivan Kowalski and Brooke James Roberson both of Dallas,TX.
Flowers girls were Georgia Carmody and Lauren Beach, nieces of the bride,
and Joanna Solis, niece of the groom. Ring bearers were Frederick and Lily
Carmody, nephew and niece of the bride. Derry Beach Adams, sister of the
bride, of Colorado Springs, CO. was the reader. Curtis Roy White, of Orange,TX., srved as best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Sartin, brother of the groom, Orange,TX. John Beach,Los Angeles,CA. and LT. Col. Brad Beach, Fairfax,VA. brothers of the bride., Sam Gregory, Beaumont,TX., John Hughes,Magnolia,TX and James Hill,Pflugerville,TX. Ushers were Doug Sartin, brother of the groom, Sean Wheeler, Chaz Klaes, Joseph Moreno and Shaula Schoultz. Gaynanette is a graduate of Loyola College Prep and SMU in Dallas,TX., with a Bachelors degree in Communications-TV/Radio. She is employed with Soliant Health, Pharmacy Staffing Firm, in Houston. Cole graduated from Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School in Orange,TX and Lamar University in Beaumont,TX., with a Bachelors Degree in Finance. He is presently attending South Texas College of Law in Houston. After a wedding trip to Belize, the couple will reside in Houston.
