LeAnna Marie Mott became the bride of Blake Andrew Simmons on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Beaumont Elks Lodge in Beaumont, Texas. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Dr. Larry Lormand.
The bride is the daughter of Brenda Mott and Keith Mott of Orange. Her father escorted her down the aisle. The bridegroom is the son of Darrell and Lisa Marks of Mauriceville. Donna Marx played the wedding music. Attending the bride as matron of honor was Jenna Bensken, maid of honor was Laci Mims. Bridesmaids were Katie Miles and Carmen Keesee (aunt of groom). Aubrey Mott (niece of bride) and Emily Edgar were flower girls while Reed Williams (cousin of bride) carried the rings. Luke Marks (brother of groom) served as best man. Groomsmen were Nathan Norton, Cutter Brewer, and Mark Hajda. Matthew Mott (brother of bride), Wes Callais, and Robby Hardy seated the guest. The Beaumont Elks Lodge was the site of the reception. The event was decorated and catered by Roderick Stutes.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School and attended the Baptist Hospital Radiology Program. She is employed with Christus St. Elizabeth Minor Care Center in Beaumont as a Radiology Technologist. The groom is also a 2003 graduate of Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School. He attended welding school at Lamar State College Orange and holds a certificate in welding. He is employed by National Pump and Compressor in Beaumont. Prenuptial courtesies included a weekend trip to Kemah with a shower given my bridesmaids and mothers. Following their honeymoon in Branson, Missouri the couple will reside in Mauriceville.
