Jill Standridge became the bride of Ryan Morris during a double-ring ceremony Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. in the atrium of the Walden Road Holiday Inn in Beaumont. Officiating at the ceremony was Rev. Barry Bradley, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Orange. The bride is the daughter of Judge and Mrs. Joe Parkhurst of Orange and Mark Standridge of Gun Barrell City. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carlo Morris of Orange. Special music was provided by a duet sung by Candi Patterson of Orange and Belinda Plsek, aunt of the bride of Roswell, Georgia. Bryce Rambo, cousin of the bridegroom, was the scripture reader. Attending the bride as matron of honor was Rendi Hufford.
Bridesmaids were Leslie Mazzola; Lesley Standridge, sister-in-law of the bride of Dallas; Amanda Istre; Lindsey Riley, sister of the bridegroom of Shreveport, La.; Sarah Carter; Kristinn Hollbrooks; Crissa Bonnin; Kristin Begnaud; Ashton Dyer; and Ashley Williams of Dallas. Serving as best man was Walker Pickering of Austin. Groomsmen were Jonathan Bradley; Kris Standridge, brother of the bride of Dallas; Shea Landry; Chase Riley, brother-in-law of the bridegroom of Shreveport, La.; Justin Walters; Ryan Pickering; Micah Reinhart; Paul Talbot; Jesse Brinson; and Justin Boynton. The ring bearer was the nephew of the bride, Kellan Standridge. Flower girls were Meara Patterson and Paysli Hufford. Seating the guests were cousins of the bride, Stephen McKenzie of Orange and Jonathan Plsek of Roswell, Ga. Registering the guests were Ferrell Greer and Jaycie Harrison. Shavonn Fountain and Kristen Sparks served the the house party. A reception was held in the hotel's ballroom. The bride is a graduate of Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School and Texas State University in San Marcos. She is a teacher at Orangefield Junior High School and teaches dance at the Rose Thayer Academy of Dance. The bridegroom is a graduate of Little Cypress-Mauriceville High School and recently returned from military deployment in Iraq. He is employed by MHC Datacom in Orange. Following a wedding cruise to the Grand Cayman Islands, Jamaica, and Cozumel, the newlyweds will make their home in Orange.
