Parker Weds Camp

Orangefield, TX — Orangefield, TX – Heather Lane Parker and Michael Aaron Camp were united in marriage on October 15, 2011, in an evening wedding at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange, Texas.  Rev. Thomas E. Phelan performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of James and Sheryl Parker, granddaughter of Arlo Morgan and the late Betty Morgan; Rachael Parker and the late James Robert Parker; and Nancy Parker; and is the great granddaughter of Mrs. Mildred Morgan and the late John Morgan. The groom is the son of John and Victoria Camp, grandson of Evelyn Giarratano and the late Frank Giarratano; and Ray and Lorene Camp.  Attending the bride as Maid of Honor was her sister, Hannah Parker.  Bridesmaids were Brittany Anderson, Megan Ayers, Kalie Blanda, Kalli Curry, Rebecca Giarratano, Kristen Slagle and Junior Bridesmaid Madison Taylor.   John Camp, father of the groom, served as Best Man.  Groomsmen were John Camp III, Dustin Camp, Jeffery Moore, Brandon Brignac and Jacob Edwards.  Ushers were Randall Slagle, Tyler Slagle and Derek Anderson.  The flower girl was Kennedy Thibodeaux and ring bearer Rylan Agerton. The pianist was Mr. Dana Cruse. The vocalists were Mrs. Angie Lathrop and Mrs. Melissa Usie.  The program attendants were Lauren Herman and Caitlin Herman.  The readers were Jennifer Camp and Monica Perry.

A reception followed at the St. Francis San Domiano Center.  On the eve of the wedding, the parents of the groom hosted a rehearsal dinner at Sunset Grove Country Club in Orange. The bride is a 2006 graduate of Orangefield High School and graduated from Lamar University in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.  The groom is a 2006 graduate of Orangefield High School and graduated from Lamar Institute of Technology with an Associate degree in Computer Drafting Technology.
