Karen Meng-Ying Lin and Brooks Landon Mouton were united in marriage on Saturday, August 20, 2011, at five o’clock in the evening at First Presbyterian Church in Orange. The Reverend, Mike Umbenhaur, performed the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lin of Taipei, Taiwan, and the last Mrs. Judy Lin.
The groom is the son of David and Patty Mouton of Orange, Texas. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Cloyd Mouton Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Pete Parker. Her father escorted her down the isle. Attending the bride as matron of honor was Teresa Lin. Bridesmaids included, Leigh Marshall, Shana Guidi, Karla Hamelin, Rachael Emery, and Nellie Schrantz. Junior bridesmaids were, Caroline McDonald, Kathryn McDonald, Victoria Benavides, and Christine Lin. Flowers girls, Aimee Sarman, Allyson Tang, and Abihail Tang.
Attending the groom as best man was Kyle Tinney. Groomsmen were, Justin Mouton, Devin Harley, Kenney McCoy, Chris Lin, and John Lin. Ring bearers were, Aiden Lin, Josh Lin, and Thomas Sarman.
Blake LeBlanc, Andrew Hoyland and Jeffrey Shu seated the guest. Maddi LeBlanc was the hostess. Darren Hoyland played the music while Mike and Sherry Combs, Liz LeBlanc, and Doug Combs provided the vocals. Musicians on the violins were, Danny Gee, Connor Bell, Yvonne Davila, and Rachel Ringeisen. Sunset Grove Country Club was the site of the reception.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of the University of. Texas with a degree in Management Informations Systems and Marketing. The groom is a 2006 graduate of Lamar University and received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business. He is employed with the U.S. Army as a Blackhawk helicopter pilot. And she teaches violin. Following a honeymoon to Puerto Rico, the couple will reside in ElPaso, Texas.
