ORANGE — A confirmed case of a person being infected with the West Nile Virus in Orange County has been received.
The Texas Department of State Health Services has reportedly confirmed the first human case of West Nile Virus in Orange County. The person said to be infected with the virus lives in the Vidor-area, east of FM 105 and south of Interstate 10. where mosquitos were confirmed to carry this virus from a collection of the insects just north of this area.
