ORANGE — Cajun Food and Music Festival

The 25th annual Cajun Food and Music Festival brings lively Cajun sounds that will have you on your feet at the Burton Coliseum from 8 a.m. - 11 p.m., Saturday, July 21, and 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Sunday, July 22. Scrapbooking benefit

The third annual Scrapbooking benefit for the Salvation Army food pantry will be held from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday, July 21. Registration is $25 and is donated to food pantry. Cormier Museum

Whitetails Unlimited

Farmers Market

The Orange County Farmers’ Market will be held in the parking lot in front of Big Lots on MacArthur Drive in Pinehurst from 3 p.m. - 6 p.m., every Wednesday, and 7 a.m. - 10 a.m., every Saturday. Items available are watermelon, peaches, tomatoes, okra, sweet corn, eggplant, cucumbers, squash, zucchini, purple hull peas, a variety of peppers, blueberries, blueberry juice, jams and jellies, salsa, local honey, fresh eggs, homemade cookies and bread, boudain, jerky, a variety of sausages, flowering plants, herb plants, blueberry bushes, fig trees and more. Triangle Trade Days

Triangle Trade Days is open from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., every Saturday and Sunday, and is located next to New York Pizza and Pasta off South Street along Interstate 10 in Vidor. The public is invited.



All Choirs Annual Day

Mount Calvary Baptist Church will have its All Choirs Annual Day at 3 p.m., Sunday, July 22. Guest speaker is Pastor Alvin Jefferon of First Community Baptist Church in Lake Charles, La. The public is invited to attend.

Last Blast

The Go Green for God committee at The First United Methodist in Orange would like to recycle gently used school uniforms at the “Last Blast” program on the church grounds Aug. 18. If you have gently used school uniforms your child has outgrow that you would like to donate, please bring them by the church office at 502 6th St. in Orange. Your donation will go to help someone in need.



Vendors needed

Food and craft vendors are encouraged to register for participation at the next Boat Race Event set for Sept. 21–23, 2012 in Orange. Deadline for registration is Aug. 31. Diabetes Education

Texas AgriLife Extension Orange County will be offering Do Well, Be Well with Diabetes Classes for adults with Type 2 Diabetes from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m., every Thursday, beginning Aug. 9 through Sept. 27 on the fifth floor classroom at Baptist Hospital Orange.
