Cool weather expected all weekend

ORANGE — It is time to break out the winter clothes and at least have the attire on standby.

This weekend will post the coolest temperatures so far this fall as a cold front moves into Southeast Texas.

Temperatures will dip into the mid-40s along the coast of Southeast Texas while highs Saturday are expected to only get up to the upper-60s.

Winds will also be a factor during the day Saturday as they will peak between 15-20 mph.

The same time of weather is expected through Tuesday with the highs only reaching the lower-70s and lows in the mid-40s to upper-50s.

Southeast Texas can also watch over the weekend as the east coast prepares for the threat of another hurricane.

Hurricane Sandy is poised to make landfall in the Maryland area sometime late Monday after brushing past the Carolinas this weekend.

Sandy is expected to move north-northeast on Saturday and start to pick up forward speed.
