ORANGE —
Fleur de Chic, 2222 McArthur Drive in Orange, is moving to a new location.
The store opened in 2010 and recently expanded to include Baby Chic.
Baby Chic moved to a new location in January of this year after expanding to become it’s own entity. Baby Chic, 4343 Lincoln Ave. in Groves, has been well received at the new location.
Candice Harrison, co-owner of the stores, said she is excited about the move.
Fleur de Chic new location will be across the street at 4300 Lincoln Ave. in Groves.
“We have a great bond with our customers,” Harrison said. “We have been here for three years and hate to be leaving.”
Harrison said the city of Groves offered incentives for the move such as paying half the cost of the move.
“We love Orange,” Harrison said. “But this is a much better move for us.”
Harrison said with the move she will have less overhead so her mark up on products can be less.
Fleur de Chic will offer clothing, shoes and jewelry at the new location.
“Our goal is to have largest clothing selection in Southeast Texas,” Harrison said.
Harrison said the phone number and Facebook will stay the same.
“We want to make it as easy as possible for our customers to stay in contact,” Harrison said.
The store hours will remain 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. Mon.- Sat.
Monday is expected to the last day at the Orange location.
Fleur de Chic is to reopen in Groves on March 1.
