Flat tire leads to fatal wreck
A Vidor woman died early Thursday morning after being ejected from her vehicle.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Beverly Janene Wrinkle was driving her vehicle on Lake View Cutoff in the Pine Forest community when her automobile experienced a flat tire. She lost control of the vehicle, left the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Wrinkle, a nurse, was reportedly not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle. She died at the scene.
Wrinkle’s body was taken to the Jefferson County Morgue. No other injuries were reported.
