WEST ORANGE —
The City of West Orange has agreed to allow Waste Management to change the date of collection for solid waste for those currently having their trash picked up on Tuesdays.
July 31, 2012 will be the last Tuesday collection for that area.
Beginning Friday, August 3, 2012, all solid waste collected by Waste Management will take place on Fridays throughout West Orange. The city advises residents to place their cart out for service by 7 a.m. Residents will continue to be able to place their cart and two bulk items out for collection each Friday.
Carts must be utilized in order to be in compliance with the City’s contract.
