ORANGE —
As children we have dreams of what we would like to be.
We dream of being famous athletes, musicians, politicians and even rich. We have been encouraged that we could become anything we wanted to be. Somewhere along this life’s journey we lost the dream. We seem to have gotten out of position for greatness.
Our view of what we wanted to achieve has become blurry, cloudy or even blinded by hindrances, hurts and haters. There are those who have told us more times than not that we can never be what we dreamed we could be and the storms of life comes and washes those dreams away. Praise be to God that losing our position for greatness is not lost forever.
God can take our past mistakes and create a present masterpiece. Haters will see the greatness in us that we don’t see in ourselves and look to destroy the diagram to our great destiny.
They will try to cause self-incarceration by getting us to lose sight of that which God has placed in us. Yes we walk by faith and not by sight however, it is sight that gives life to the vision of the greatness that we are looking to become. To walk by faith with no vision is to walk in the dark hoping to find a light switch.
When we have vision and walk by faith we can walk through the darkness knowing where the light switch is. All of us have had some dark times in our lives and it may seem as if there is no switch in sight. God wants to position us to reach that switch which shall cast the light on our greatness.
Do you see yourself as “great”?
The image of greatness can be different from person to person, but having vision is common amongst all manifestation of greatness. We talk good game but we walk in shame.
The picture of my past only serves to confirm the progress in my present which fuels my future. God uses our mistakes to maneuver us into the position of greatness that we have been created for.
We just have to move.
Move out of the comfort zone of excuses. Get out of the buffet line of procrastination. Take off those worn out clothes of doubt and despair and allow God to place you in your position of Greatness.
