BRIDGE CITY — Fall 2012 offers a brand new course to the campus of Bridge City High School. Students, whown with BCHS Principal Richard Briggs, at center, must be involved in extra-curricular activities, be in the top 25 percent of their class and hold a leadership role in a club or organization to qualify. This course provides an opportunity to study, practice, and to develop group and individual leadership skills. The curriculum teaches students to set and realize goals, to communicate well, to work cooperatively within a team, to take responsibility for themselves and others and to understand the importance of community.
