ORANGE —
Motorists may encounter some minor to moderate road delays when traveling Interstate 10 through Orange County over the next few days.
The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has announced lane closures which may affect motorists traveling Interstate 10 on Saturday and on Monday.
From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, work crews will have alternating lane closures in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 at the Texas and Louisiana border at the Sabine River. This could affect drivers who are returning from Louisiana.
Then, from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday, Feb. 4, TxDOT work crews will have the westbound left lane of Interstate 10 closed at the Neches River Bridge for road repairs.
TxDOT urges motorists to pay extra attention for workers and vehicles while traveling through work zones. All work is done weather permitting and does not reflect emergency lane closures.
