VINTON, La. —
A Vidor man has died following an early morning wreck on Sunday.
David Kurdupski of Vidor died Sunday morning after being transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead as a result of injuries he received in a wreck at approximately 4:15 a.m., Sunday, in the 1500 block of Wright Road in Vinton, La.
Kurdupski, 24, was the passenger in a truck being driven by Devon D. Courmier of Orange.

Deputies, who arrived at the scene and spoke with Courmier, said they noticed “a strong odor of alcohol” coming from her.
Both Courmier and Kurdupski were transported to the hospital for their injuries. Courmier’s injuries were said to be non-life threatening.
After being released from the hospital, Courmier, 23, was arrested and charged with vehicular homicide, DWI and careless operation.” She was transported and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center.
A toxicology report will be performed on Courmier, which is mandated by Louisiana state law in all fatal motor vehicle incidents.
