VIDOR — Danny O’Flaherty with Young Audiences of Southeast Texas entertained children at the Vidor Public Library Summer Reading Program on Wednesday, July 11. He shared information on his childhood home in Ireland, where he spent time fishing off cliffs and learning to row a currach (Irish boat with a wooden frame) with his uncle. He sang songs from his Celtic heritage while playing the guitar, tin whistle, harmonica and accordion for the group.
