Sulphur, LA —
The Combined Anti-Drug Task Force (CAT TEAM) and the Louisiana State Police (LSP) worked an undercover operation together for approximately two weeks which resulted in the arrests of two Sulphur people.
Detectives with the agencies served a search warrant on Tuesday at 1100 Lori Lane, Lot 8, Sulphur, LA. After the execution of the search warrant, officers discovered eight (8) guns, several grams of meth, and merchandise stolen from other burglaries.
Arrested at the residence were Todd Booth and Gina Giamis. Both subjects were booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center on the following charges.
Todd Booth Warrants include: Illegal possession of stolen firearm, Possession of firearm by a convicted felon, Possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, Possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance.
Booth’s new charges are Possession of CDS I, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Possession of firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance, Possession of firearm by a convicted felon, Possession of CDS II with intent to distribute.

Burglary and theft detectives with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office, Lake Charles Police Department, and Sulphur Police Department were contacted. Detectives with the different agencies spent the afternoon sifting through items trying to identify stolen merchandise.
During this investigation detectives learned that two individuals associated with this group had outstanding warrants.
Detectives with the CAT Team spent the afternoon conducting surveillance at a local hotel.
Around midnight the two subjects were taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
