BEAUMONT —
To celebrate the holiday season, H-E-B will host its 22nd annual Feast of Sharing dinner, an H-E-B tradition for community residents to enjoy a delicious, free meal and festive entertainment. The event is scheduled from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 7, at the Ford Park Event Center, 5115 Interstate 10 South in Beaumont.
“Feast of Sharing supports H-E-B’s continuous efforts to serve our communities and share a spirit of camaraderie during the holiday season,” said Winell Herron, group vice president of public affairs, diversity and environmental affairs. “Over the past 24 years, Feast of Sharing has grown to be a holiday tradition in 32 locations throughout Texas and Mexico, and we appreciate the opportunity these community dinners provide to express gratitude to our customers.”
Hundreds of H-E-B Partners and community volunteers will work together to prepare and serve more than 5,000 meals to residents of Beaumont on December 7th. Altogether, 1,250 lbs. of glazed ham; 1,250 lbs. of mashed potatoes; 1,100 lbs. of vegetable medley; 100 gallons of brown gravy; 500 pies; 5,000 dinner rolls and soft drinks will be served.
Attendees of the Feast of Sharing dinner will enjoy live entertainment with performances by a variety of local and regional artists and a children’s area where kids will enjoy face painting and crafts.
