ORANGE —
Motorists traveling Interstate 10 can expect minor to moderate traffic delays this Valentine’s Day.
The Texas Department of Transportation has announced a pair of lane closures for motorists traveling east and west on Interstate 10 through Orange County for Thursday, Feb. 14.
From 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., today, vehicles traveling Interstate 10 East from State Highway 62 to Adams Bayou in Orange will have to deal with the left lane being closed for pavement markings.
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., today, motorists traveling from Orange County to Beaumont will encounter some delays as work crews close the westbound left lane of Interstate 10 at the Neches River Bridge for repairs to expansion joints.
All work is done weather permitting and does not reflect emergency lane closures. TxDOT wants to remind motorists to pay attention while traveling through work zones are workers are always present.
