WEST ORANGE —
The West Orange-Stark High School chapter of the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) attended the Region V TAFE Convention at Lamar State College-Orange on Dec. 5.
Junior Alana Gradnigo and seniors Nathan Platt, Kelsi’ Taylor and Vincent Mifsud competed in the Educational Leadership Fundamentals test, and received bronze medals. Mifsud also competed in Impromptu Speaking and qualified for the TAFE State Competition with second place.
The WO-S High School TAFE Chapter was also voted Region V President school. Their sponsor is Mrs. Diztorsha Lavan.
