WEST ORANGE — Philip Welch will go from the board room to the showfloor as his working career is not over yet.
Welch will work in the community relations department at Granger Chevrolet on MacArthur Drive in West Orange.
His last post was as superintendent at Orangefield Independent School District. He was with the district for 26 years and did just about as much as anyone could do. Welch is a 1977 graduate of Bridge City High School.
“I look forward to working with the Granger Organization in the many activities they are involved with,” Welch said. “I have been impressed with their commitment to helping Orange County communities.
Dean Granger, co-owner at Granger, is excited to have Welch on his team.
“Philip will be a great addition to the Granger staff” Welch said. “Philip is very familiar with many families in the Greater Orange area. His ethics and dedication to excellence align well with our beliefs.
