ORANGE — Private Paul SIeber
Private Paul SIeber graduated Marine Corps Recruit Training on Friday, September 7. To graduate and earn the title United States Marine, PVT Sieber faced rigorous training to include various mental and physical challenges and multiple classes on everything from first aid to basic combat skills the past 13 weeks upon Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego.
PVT Sieber is a 2012 graduate of Orangefield High School.
He will be returning to the School of infantry after his leave time and then on to Electronic Maintenance school in Virginia before finally arriving at their first permanent duty stations to begin a prosperous career as United States Marine.
Airman 1st Class Roger A. Rolfes
Air Force Reserve Airman 1st Class Roger A. Rolfes graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Rolfes is the son of Jacqueline and Dana Leslie of Vidor.
