Two Vidor residents arrested after narcotics search
Two Vidor residents were arrested Wednesday after Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies executed a narcotics search warrant at 155 North Fisherman Street in Vidor.
William Allen Gilmore, 44, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance while Jeffery Paul Jones, 32, was arrested for a parole violation warrant.
Officers found a quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia when arriving at the house at about 1:14 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers located two stolen firearms within the residence that were reported stolen from Jefferson County.
Officers also located a quantity of methamphetamine in the passenger compartment of a 1993 Lexus vehicle that was parked and unattended at the residence. This vehicle was towed and is pending seizure. Additional arrests are pending on other suspects from this investigation.
Orange County Sheriff Keith Merritt and the Orange County Sheriff's Office pledges to continue to diligently combat the drug activities that occur in the neighborhoods and other areas of Orange County.
