BEAUMONT —
Toby Foreman's wait to be a head football coach is over.
Foreman was named the new head coach of the Central Jaguars on Thursday by the Beaumont Independent School District.
Foreman is a former offensive coordinator with the West Orange-Stark Mustangs and this past season held the same position at LaMarque High School.
Foreman was one of four coaches brought back Thursday for second interviews after initial interviews were held on Wednesday.
Former Lamar University quarterback Andre Bevil and current Seattle Seahawks' safety Earl Thomas were on hand to support Foreman. Foreman coached both Bevil and Thomas in their time with the Mustangs.
Foreman has applied at several local high schools through the years, including WO-S before the job was handed down to Cornel Thompson after the retirement of Dan Hooks.
