BRIDGE CITY —
Bridge City senior linebacker Zach Cole has decided to sign to play collegiate football at NCAA Division III Southwestern University in Georgetown.
Cole (5-10, 220) was a member of the Cardinal varsity football team for three years.
He made the All-District 21-3A Team the last two years along with the All-Orange Leader Team the last two seasons, He was also a Class 3A Academic All-State Team member.
He is the National Honor Society President. He’s been a member of the Student Council the last four years and is currently the President of it and is also a Magna Cum Laude grauduate.
In other signing news, Nederland linebacker Korbin Stampley signed with McMurray College.
He was District 20-4A’s Defensive Player of the Year after posting 158 tackles for the 20-4A champion Bulldogs.
