The Little Cypress-Mauriceville boys and the Silsbee girls captured the team titles at the West Orange-Stark Powerlifting Meet held at WO-S High School.
The Bear boys landed six first-place finishes.
LC-M’s Javier Garcia was first in the 132-pound class, lifting 940 total pounds at the three venues that consist of the bench press, the squat, and the dead-lift.
Bryce Rambo won the 165-pound class with 850 points while Bear teammate Tyler Hanna was second with 705 pounds. Bear Troy Angelo took the 181-pound division with 1,275 pounds.
LC-M’s Coleton Boudreaux was first in the 198-pound division with 1,290 pounds. Bear Coy Laughlin was first in the 220-pound division with 1,190 pounds.
LC-M’s Jonathan Judge netted first in the 275-pound class with 1,090 pounds.
WO-S’ Payton Robertson claimed the 114-pound division with 475 pounds.
Orangefield’s Matthew Watkins claimed the 148-pound class with 750 pounds.
WO-S’ Jhayllien Monnette was second in the 198-pound class with 1,065 pounds and Orangefield’s Adam Jacobs was third with 960 pounds.
Orangefield’s Bryan Lopez was second in the 220-pound division with 1,110 pounds and WO-S’ Octavius Crosson was third with 925 pounds. LC-M’s Carter Beck took second in the 242-pound division with 880 pounds.
Silsbee’s Patrick Hudson nabbed the Super Heavyweight Division with 1,265 pounds. WO-S’ Richard Wright was third with 985 pounds.
On the girls’ side of the ledger, Orangefield’s Madelyn Hamilton took the 123-pound class with 435 pounds while WO-S’ Taylor Colbert was second with 400.
Orangefield’s Brittany Edgerly was second in the 114-pound class with 435 pounds and LC-M’s Nikki Mathis was third with 400.
LC-M’s Kallye Harris captured first in the 132-pound class, lifting 730 pounds. WO-S’ Shaana Hypolite was second with 440 pounds.
LC-M’s Courtney Price took second in the 148-pound division with 455 pounds and Orangefield’s Heather Stout was third with 445.
WO-S’ Destinie Stewart won the 165-pound class with 480 pounds. Orangefield’s Bre Norton netted first in the 181-pound class with 605 pounds. LC-M’s Blythe Ferguson took first in the 220-pound division with 965 pounds.
Silsbee’s Annie Morrisey took the 220-plus class with 1,025 pounds.
