ORANGE — A pair of videos posted on Youtube.com were deleted moments after The Orange Leader published the two videos which showed Seattle Seahawks' safety Earl Thomas involved in an altercation in the parking lot of Waffle House.
The videos first showed Thomas, wearing a white shirt and yellow pants, in a heated standoff inside the restaurant. A second video then showed a fight break out between about 5-6 men. Thomas was identified in the low quality video by his yellow pants.
Thomas' Twitter account had an update on Friday, July 20 stating he was heading to Waffle House.
No. 29 for the Seahawks will be in his third season in the NFL this year. He received the honor of being named to the Pro Bowl after last year and in his rookie season Thomas was a key figure in guiding the Seahawks to the playoffs.
Thomas has seven interceptions in his two seasons with Seattle along with 174 tackles.
Orange's star football player was selected No. 14 in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Thomas was not reported to have been arrersted in connection with the incident. He was back in Seattle on Saturday as the Seahawks opened training camp on Saturday.
