Two Orange County teams walked away with trophies at the YMBL Volleyball Tournament over the weekend as all of the area teams are looking to take part in their second district games Tuesday.
The Orangefield Lady Bobcats captured first-place in the Class 3A-and-Under Division, defeating District 21-3A rival Hamshire-Fannett in the title match.
Lady Bobcat standout senior Kacey LeBlanc was named the Most Valuable Player in the tournament while teammates Morgan Moss, Rylie Granger and Jennifer McManus each made All-Tournament.
The Lady Bobcats, who opened up 21-3A play last Friday with a four-game win over Silsbee, will try to make it two straight against Hamshire-Fannett when they host the Lady Longhorns Tuesday.
The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Lady Bears stormed to a second-place finish in the Class 5A-4A Division at the YMBL.
On Thursday, the Lady Bears won their pool by defeating Beaumont West Brook 17-25, 25-18, 25-9 and Vidor 25-17, 25-15. In bracket play on Saturday the Lady Bears defeated North Forest 25-9, 25-7, Humble 12-25, 25-20, 25-18 and lost to Beaumont Ozen in the championship 25-19, 25-19.
The Lady Bears also got in another non-district match on Friday, defeating the Bridge City Lady Cardinals 25-13, 25-18, 25-20.

The Lady Bears, who swept Lumberton in their District 20-4A opener last Friday, will travel to rival Port Neches-Groves Tuesday.
In other 20-4A action Tuesday the Vidor Lady Pirates will host Beaumont Ozen.
In other District 21-3A play Tuesday the West Orange-Stark Lady Mustangs, who opened district with a win at Hamshire-Fannett last week, will play host to Hardin-Jefferson while the Bridge City Lady Cardinals, who fell to Buna in their district opener, will visit Evadale in non-district play.
On Friday, LC-M will host Beaumont Central; Bridge City visits Hardin-Jefferson; Orangefield goes to Evadale; WO-S welcomes in Buna; and Vidormakes the long trek to Livingston.
